Fixtures and results

Adding a match

In your site’s admin, go to Matches › Fixtures and add one. You’ll need:

• the opponent, the date and the kick-off time;
• home or away, and the venue (add venues under Venues first);
• the format: 15s, 10s, 7s or Touch.

Matches appear on the fixtures page and in the calendar feed straight away. Anyone subscribed to your calendar sees them within a few hours.

Tournaments

A tournament groups several matches. Add it under Matches › Tournaments before the draw is out, with its dates, place and time zone. Once you know the draw, add each game as a match and pick the tournament. Kick-offs show in the tournament’s local time, which is what players travelling to it need.

After the match

Open the match and add the score. You can also add the scorers (from your squad, or typed in for guest players) then write a match report under News & photos and link it to the match.

Your admin dashboard lists matches that have been played but don’t have a result yet, and results that don’t have a match report.

Seasons

Seasons run from November to October unless your club’s season starts in a different month. When a season has nothing left to play, the fixtures page moves on to the next one by itself.
