Your club's names and languages
Your club’s names appear everywhere: page titles, match names (“Hawks v Harbour”), emails to new players and the fixtures calendar. Fill them in first.
Names
Sign in to your site’s admin at /admin and go to Site admin › Club identity. Fill in:
| Field | Example | Where it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Harbour Hawks | Headings, page titles, emails |
| Full name | Harbour Hawks RFC | The footer, search results, structured data |
| Short name | Hawks | Match names and anywhere space is tight |
| Region | Greater Tokyo | The home page and search results |
| Description | One or two sentences | Search results and link previews |
If your site has more than one language, fill in each name in each of them.
Languages
Go to Site admin › Languages. Your site can be in English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese, in any combination.
- The main language is the one content must be written in. Other languages are optional: a page that hasn’t been translated yet shows the main language.
- With one language, there’s no language switcher and no
/enin your addresses. - With exactly two, headings show both languages together.
- With three, headings show only the page’s language and the switcher becomes a menu.
You can change these at any time.
