Adding your committee

A club website shouldn’t depend on one person. Before you launch, add at least one more admin, so the site keeps going when someone steps down or is away.

Adding someone

In your site’s admin, go to Site admin › Users and press Invite admin. Give their name, email and a temporary password, then send them the password yourself, in person or by message. They can change it from the sign-in page.

Every admin can do everything: there are no separate roles. Each admin chooses the language the admin is shown in.

When someone leaves the committee

Remove their account under Site admin › Users. What they wrote stays on the site.

Your Openside account

Your site’s admin is separate from your Openside account, where billing and setup live. Whoever signed the club up can invite others to the Openside account too, so that billing doesn’t depend on one person either.
