Launch day

When every step on your setup checklist is green, the Launch button turns on.

What happens when you press it

1. Your own domain becomes your site’s main address.
2. Your temporary address, yourclub.openside.club, redirects there, so any links you’ve already shared keep working.
3. Search engines are allowed to list your site.

It takes a minute or two. Nothing on the site changes, and nothing needs to be re-entered.

Before you press it

• Replace the demo content: fixtures, players, news and photos. Anything you haven’t replaced is visible to everyone once you launch.
• Read the home page and the join page as a new player would. Are the training times, the venue and the first-session details right?
• Send yourself a training enquiry through the join form, and check the confirmation email.

After launch

Tell people: put the address on your social media profiles, your kit order forms and your union’s club directory. If you’re an IGR member club, let IGR know your new address too.
